The working interview is the single most predictive hiring tool available — and most small businesses skip it. You learn more about someone in 2 hours of watching them work than in 5 hours of interviewing them.

Why It Works

Interviews measure what candidates say they do. Working interviews measure what candidates actually do. There's no substitute for seeing someone in action.

How to Structure It

Duration: 2-4 hours. Paid (at their expected hourly rate). This is non-negotiable — you're asking them to do real work, you should pay for it.
